Hi everyone,
Since myself and a few of my friends and ex-guildies are back to the game (some that haven't played since TBC!) I wanted to organize some kind of raiding for us that cannot commit to a regular raiding schedule. All of us were in Ébem and later Nova on Bloodhoof, and most of us have quite a few server-firsts.
I became guild master of Ébem at end of TBC and the guild was active (with a few breaks) until around Firelands in Cataclysm. I led most of our raids, with the help of my officers.
So the idea behind this raiding group is to keep things rather casual, but focused. We will be raiding ~3 times a week as a normal/heroic flex group, and no one is forced to show up if they don't want to... I won't even be able to make all raiding nights myself. However this is not about carrying slackers or alts, so you will be expected to perform well while in the raids
To be able to achieve this I need a core of tanks and healers, with enough spares to fill in when needed. All of the tanks and healers will be required to have a viable alt spec as dps, and yes that includes me (I'm sure my ex-guildies are laughing now, I'm notorious for never dpsing).
The rest will be filled by dps, and anyone who fulfills the requirements is welcome to join us.
I except people to show up for raids prepared, and have at least a decent set of heroic gear (iLevel 625 or higher). Raids will start at 20:00 server time and run for roughly 3 hours, but if that time is a problem for anyone please speak up.
Current idea for raiding days: Wednesdays, Sundays, Tuesdays.
Currently I'm thinking about using personal loot to simplify things, but if anyone is against that I'm willing to discuss it. I just don't want to head down the path of DKP or having to manage a "loot council".
So if you are interested, please let me know and I'll put you on the roster. The guild leaders have graciously offered us a separate guild rank and possibly a bank tab, which I'm planning to leverage soon.
Currently we are very low on healers, which might delay us in getting started.. so if you've been thinking about swapping to healing, now's your chance! The size of the raid will be directly affected by how many healers we have around at each time.
NOTE: If you are also raiding with the mythic group you are still welcome with a different character, but there is at least one day where both groups are going. Afaik the mythic group raids on wed-thu-mon.
