Since a few of us got the legendary ring we need to make sure people know how best to utilize them, namely the activation!
As you should know the activation is shared between the different types of rings (dps/tank/heal) and has a different effect for each.
Healers and tanks can sort this out themselves, but DPS need to coordinate when to activate and because of the nature of the buff it's normally best for a MELEE character to activate it.
The proc states "When this effect ends, each empowered player unleashes a blast of light that strikes all enemies within 20 yards of the initiating player's location"
So whoever activates the ring has to position himself where it does the most good for the AOE blast. This is usually at the boss but can also be used to take care of adds etc. Ranged players don't need to move, it all hits where the activating players is standing.
As to when to activate, timing it with BL and your dps-increasing CDs is a good idea so we'll try to announce it on TS. But remember the CD is only 2 mins so we'll have multiple activations per fight.
Can those of you who have the ring already report in please, I'll coordinate this tonight and handle the activations myself.
