Work in progress rules for raid team 2.. we need this to clear up a few things and prevent drama. General rules:1. Alts are not allowed in scheduled raids 2. Non-guild members are not allowed in raids 3. You cannot reroll or swap your main without permission from Karuc or Kolahn. If you do so we cannot guarantee you a spot in the raid, and you can mess up the group We don't exactly have a lot of extra players around. 4. For progression nights we might need to remove players on certain fights if they performing way below others (I'm not talking 10% difference here) 5. All tanks and healers should have a DPS offspec and expect to be rotated. 6. Raids are on: Wednesdays, Sundays and Tuesdays. Start at 20:00 server time, please be there and ready on time. Loot rules:1. We use Master Loot2. Players roll on items they need, but should be clear on stat priorities! Check www.icy-veins.com, www.askmrrobot.com or even the chart Yan made here: coldturkey.boards.net/thread/91/current-mythic-raid-team3. Healers have priority on items with Spirit, and tanks on items with Bonus Armor 4. If you are rolling against your normal loot priority, others can question you about why. I don't want to go full loot council (yet at least), but expect players to know what their BiS items and best secondary stats are. 5. Main specs > off spec

Or we can go back to Personal Loot. I'd like to hear from as many of you as possible on this.
But tonight we had two instances (that I noticed) of people rolling on items with far from optimal stats, items that wouldn't even pop up on their personal loot table.

Now, I'm not one on your team, but I'd just like to add that the rules seems sensible.

I think there should be a rule about spamming damage meters to RLs and raid chat while in the raid. It is beyond childish (not mend to offend anyone, but it is) Also about spamming RLs in general (unless it's about improving the performance for the encounter) - I know everyone feels their issue is important but RLs get like a million whispers about everything and it's so tiresome and distracting - that's from my perspective as a long-time ago RL and guild master. I am not speaking for the RLs and if they don't mind the whispers, than simply ignore the second part of the suggestion.
ML is good, I like it and as long as other people are ok with that, I would like to keep it. People should be aware enough of their stats and their gear to know what is best for them, I think the few rolls on items that were not optimal were more accidental than intentional.
PS Siggy should learn to spell his character name

So.. after thinking about it quite a lot, I'm taking us back to Personal loot.
Master loot is great for faster equipping a raid group with optimal gear, but it only really works when there is some oversight on what is rolled on.
Last night we had at least a couple of instances of people rolling on items they really shouldn't. In at least one of those cases it was an item that wouldn't even show up in the personal loot table for that character.
If I cannot trust people to know their itemization priority I cannot do this. I don't want to check every single item and who is rolling on what..
I also don't want to implement a loot council in our group since that is simply too much overhead.
A few people even got mad when we questioned a roll, which showed me not everyone had the same idea why we wanted to use ML.
On top of the above, there is drama from: * "Person X has already won 2 items, I don't have any yet and he's winning a 3rd! /whine" * (in case of equal stat prio): "This item is a bigger upgrade for me than you, can I have?" * People slow on rolling, after I've given out loot.. and winning the roll. * Dealing with rolls takes a lot of time, and it slows down the raids
I simply don't want to deal with this drama, there is enough other stuff to deal with as RL.

After the recent-ish change in group makeup there is no problem with using Master Looter again.
